Saturday 30 April 2022, 12.00-18.00 Rue Belliard 135, 1000 Brussels

The House of European History opens its new temporary exhibition "When Walls Talk! Posters - promotion, propaganda and protest" to the public with a half-day of activities. Along with a drawing performance by internationally acclaimed artist Dan Perjovschi, visitors are invited to follow guided tours in French, English and Dutch and make their own posters during a creative workshop. This new exhibition aims to reflect European history through a selection of posters from the last 100 years. From the propaganda of the World Wars and the Cold War, to the explosion of cultural exchange, tourism and the emergence of multi-voiced social movements after the Second World War, posters are the chroniclers of their times par excellence and a vital historical resource. Languages: English, French, Dutch Find more information on the event.
