Crisis in the Middle East: Insights from Guest Speaker

Updated: Dec 1, 2023

This week, Anhal Kozhaya, who graduated from political science and international affairs at the Lebanese American University - LAU – Beirut, joined us as a guest speaker during the lecture of the Journalism Practicum in the masters' study program of Media and Journalism course (SASS). He presented life in Lebanon and his personal and professional perspective on the state and prospects of his country and the Middle East in light of the current crises. The constructive discussion allowed our students to discover intercultural similarities and differences and reflect on the importance of striving for dialogue and peace. For this reason, we thank our guest for the visit and shared knowledge again and wish him much success in his career and life. SASS will also try to create and strengthen friendly ties with foreign universities and thus expand our students’ horizons.
