Sakharov Youth Seminar with Afghan women 02-02-2022, 10:30-11:30

Two Afghan women, filmmaker Sahraa Karimi and singer and activist Aryana Sayeed, will express their views on how life has changed for women and girls in Afghanistan and share their experience of the evacuation from Kabul in 2021. MEP Maria Arena (S&D, Belgium) will explain how her work in the Human Rights subcommittee contributes to keeping Afghanistan high on the EU agenda. Follow live from Brussels.
