Events in September and October promoted by European Parliament

Multilingualism Day - 24 September, 11.00-16.00

Multilingualism Day is your opportunity to peek behind the scenes of the world’s most multilingual parliament and see how the European Parliament works in 24 languages! Meet interpreters and translators and learn about their work on a visit to the Hemicycle in Brussels. Or take a look at the history of languages in Europe on a tour at the House of European History, through anecdotes and objects in the exhibition, and discover how languages have shaped the continent’s rich diversity. Family Day - 2 October

Family day will mark the start of the updated and expanded family program at the House of European History. Families can take part in new activities, share their thoughts and be a part of the change. The museum will use this feedback to incorporate visitors' wants and needs into the final version of new family programs. Activities include new family trails, voting stations, and a special treat at the end of the day for families that take part. Click here for more info.

Museum Night Fever - 22 October, 19.00-01.00

For this year's edition of Museum Night Fever, the House of European History invites you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of posters from the temporary exhibition "When Walls Talk!". You can participate in a guided tour, join a lively serigraphy workshop and print some of the exhibition's iconic visuals, or take part in a conversation on cultural identity. For this evening, the museum will team up with local Brussels artists, who will take you through a journey of sounds, vibrations and movement for a unique and dynamic performance.
