Europe Day 2023

On May 9, we celebrate Europe Day, along with the signing of the Schuman Declaration of May 9, 1950. "This ambitious plan for long-term peace in post-war Europe is one of the foundations of today's European Union. This year, too, we are celebrating live democracy, because in Europe together we tackle the most pressing issues of our time and shape a better future for all Europeans" (EP 2023).

In the month of May, the EU Parliament invites you to celebrate Europe Day! On 6 May 2023, the celebration will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels, and on 13 May in Strasbourg, you will be able to participate in a variety of live or remote events in all member states.
