Andrei Sakharov: dissident, scientist, human rights activist

Meet the man behind the European Parliament's Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought with a new temporary exhibition in the Parlamentarium. As part of the celebrations marking 100 years since the birth of Andrei Sakharov (1921-1989), the exhibition explores his life and legacy as a Soviet scientist, dissident and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. Visitors can find the exhibition at the end of the regular visit in the Parlamentarium, until 31 March 2022. More information.
