2nd Day of the Winter Camp 2021

The second day of the Winter Camp started with the topic of EUROPEAN TRANSNATIONAL GOVERNANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT as part of the Jean Monnet Chair, led by prof. dr. Matej Makarovič, Dean of the Faculty of Information Studies.

The round table discussion was entitled How to promote the environmental aspects of sustainable development: the role of the education system and lifelong learning, civil society, local communities and national decision-makers.


The second day of the Winter Camp, ended with presentations by our students who participated in the event as invited speakers with their research assignments on aspects of social effects and stakeholder involvement in them.

The set of presented content was extremely varied and diverse. Under the mentorship of Janja Mikulan Kildi and project holder (round table), Jean Monnet Module, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tea Golob, on the topic of Enhancing European Civic Practices and Sustainability (Sustain 4EU), the students did an outstanding job. Congratulations!

The section also included a lecture on aspects of sustainable development, led by Janez M. Kolar, and a lecture about E-Simbioza, The Platform for supporting Circular Economy in Slovenia (Dr. Urška Fric, Faculty of Information studies in Novo mesto).
